Off-season help

Is anyone willing to help a rookie team in the off-season? We really want to enter a safety animation for next year, and possibly an AVA entry 1 or 2 years from now, and we’re not getting very far by ourselves. Internet tutorials are fine, but they’re sometimes hard to understand, and don’t tell you exactly what you need. Any help would be much appreciated.

You know whenever I need help from my canadian friends, I always contact Karthik. One way or the other, he finds me help. I would suggest you to get in touch with Karthik Kanagasabathy from team 1114. I am sure he will find you some help. Good luck. =)

Contact me anytime, my IM is BuddyB309. My email is [email protected] (Basicly BuddyB309 anywhere is me)

Same, any time I am online, I am usually free to contact.

Oh yeah morgan and I normally hold speed modeling challenges against each other. Anybody who wants to join can. Just catch us when we are online and then propose that we do a challenge. its really fun and helps you as an animator in the future becuase it forces you to act fast.

I have a question can we use meshs we make in the off season??? IE if we make a really excellent mesh over the summer can we use it during the next animation?

Go for it!! while You might run the risk that it might not fit the theme next year. The knowlege that you will gain from makeing it will benifit you in the long run. Never stop animating…it should become an addiction.

What server is that on?(the IRC)

Freenode.

If you have a specific question I probably have an answer for you.

What are you guys all doing as your off season projects??? I could use some more suggestions.

As all AVA entries have alredy been submitted, could anyone email me or somehow post their 3ds file? I would just like to get a feel for what an animation would look like once it is finished.
