Machine: Omio X8-2200L
I am using the mach3 that can be found in the WCP assembly guide.
We just finished assembling our machine I plugged in the usb coord to my computer and clicked reset
When I attempt to jog by clicking the arrow keys nothing happens
Is there a way of telling if the cnc is actually connected to my laptop?
Is everything turned on? When you reset, do you see no error message blinking?
Are the switches on the black controller on? When I plug mine into my laptop it does get recognized as a USB device.
I forget the specifics, but the Mach 3 software will throw an error code if it does not see the controller. On first guess the software starts in E-stop mode and that has to be reset.
Also the Mach 3 has to be properly configured for the Omio. Simplest to use the version downloaded from WCP or Omio.
We are setting up our new Omio too and we are trying to find the OMIO stepper motor and ball screw specs so we can determine the travel count per inch. Can anyone help with this?
Is it not jogging at all or just very very slowly? At least for incremental jogging you have to set the feed rate.
