With all that screen space on the left or right, why are things squashed in the middle and cutting off user-name and tag-line text?
Edit: I understand CD wouldn’t be able to make a change to this behavior. At this point this thread is maybe just another outlet to complain about things in a fun, stress-free manner.
Easier on the eyes.
Maybe this is 1 part mobile web design and another part reading for information.
In my experience academic /technical papers that are written full width are very hard to read for information vs those in 2 or 3 columns. Whereas I don’t think this is a direct consequence as to why discourse is this way it may be related. There is probably a study out there… Heck newsprint is in columns too.
