One Fund Boston Collection in St. Louis

Hello everyone!

Team 126 Gael Force, with the approval of FIRST HQ, has coordinated a collection for One Fund Boston in St. Louis with the other Massachusetts teams attending this year’s event. We welcome you to join us in supporting those most affected by the Boston Marathon attacks on April 15, 2013.

A total of 9 teams will have collection boxes in their pit:
-Archimedes: 126, 1100
-Curie: 1735, 4761
-Galileo: 125, 467
-Newton: 88, 175, 190

One Fund Boston is a fund set up by Boston Mayor Menino and Governor Deval Patrick in the days following the attack. If you would like more information, feel free to visit the website here: https://onefundboston.org/

We would like to thank those teams that have agreed to help us with the collection, as well as thank everyone in advance for their support for this great cause!

In addition to the collection, Team 126 will have a limited number of laminated blue and yellow Boston Strong ribbons for teams to put on their robot. Feel free to stop by our pit to get one (first come, first serve)!

Please see the attached PDF with additional information, and let us know if you have any questions (this thread, PM, or email). We encourage team members attending Championships to forward this PDF along to their entire team.

I’ve also attached a photo of the team’s collection boxes that Team 126 made this weekend!

I just wanted to remind anyone attending the Championship currently to stop by the pit of your closest Massachusetts team to support the victims of the Boston Marathon attacks. The participating teams are:

-Archimedes: 126, 1100
-Curie: 1735, 4761
-Galileo: 125, 467
-Newton: 88, 175, 190

Team 126 will have a collection total posted at our pit in Archimedes updated as of each morning! Remember, every penny counts!!

We also have blue and yellow ribbons printed (and some laminated) available for teams to take and put on their robots!

Thank you and stay #BostonStrong!
