I can’t believe we only have 50 days! I am so excited to get a new game, excited to start another year and excited to meet all the new faces and old faces that go with this game every year. TJ² is looking forward to going down to Jersey the second weekend of competitions and having a good ol’ time. I can’t wait to see the list of great teams that are going to Jersey. And the weekend before Jersey I just might have to make a trip out to Ypsilanti to catch some of the great action that is expected from the Great Lakes Regional. I’d go to Florida for that regional but being from the Northeast I might not want to leave. Good Luck to everyone and We’ll see you all soon. I also heard that only 2 people per team can go to the kickoff. I Hope Nasa is planing on Web Casting it again. that was tremendous last year.

50 DAYS!!!
Do you know what this means? This means my team has 50 DAYS to find a place to work, 50 DAYS to put together a machine shop in the place we have 50 DAYS to find, 50 DAYS to teach people how to use that machine shop that we have 50 DAYS to put together in the place we have 50 DAYS to find. You see where I’m goin’ with this? ACK!! =)
What am I doin’ reading this site?? I don’t have time for this! We need to raise about $500 per day from now until the competition! Now how likely is THAT?
I hope you guys aren’t as scared by this deadline as I am. Good luck everyone!

50 DAYS?!?! I am really excited, yet really nervous. I can’t wait for the new competition to be revealed,
but there’s only one minor problem… we still have about $20,000 to raise. Other than that, everything is going great. We have a good team this year and everyone is looking forward to going to the UTC New
England Regional and of course, the Nationals. And we also seem to be developing a pretty solid engineering base too.
Another thing that you might find interesting is that our school has a FIRST class as part of the
curriculum now. I’m not sure how many other schools have done this, but it’s definitely a good idea.
I’m in the class myself, and it seems like it will be pretty beneficial during crunch time. Since it is
included in the school budget, we were able to purchase a brand new milling machine and $10,000 worth of tools. Unfortunately, the teacher has never been involved in FIRST before, so it is a challenge to actually bring such a huge program into the class. He’ll learn quick, I’m sure
Later,
