I have 10 TalonSRX’s connected to my Robot. When I opened my RoboRio web Configuration it only shows one TalonSRX, any ideas on what’s going on or how to fix it? Thanks for the help!
Did you set unique device IDs on each of those Talons?
Remove power (breaker) from all but one and set it’s ID, then power the next and set it’s ID, etc.
By default they all have the same address, so you’d only see one.
I tried to change the Id of the single Talon appearing and that didn’t change anything.
How can I address each Talon separately, or how do I get more than just one Talon to show up?
Please read section 2.2 of the Talon SRX Software Reference Manual.
did you take out all the breakers but one?
it may be painful, but you might have to power cycle the roborio each time too.
power off robot
remove all breakers
put breaker in for first talon
turn on power
set ID to something new
repeat for each talon
If you’re going to do this, connect to the roborio via USB. That way you save the 1 minute radio bootup time.
This helped I should have read this before hand thanks for all the help!
I just wanted to say you don’t have to power cycle the robot, here are the best steps:
- Go to webdashboard
- Set the one appearing talon to a number other than 0
- Refresh the webdashboard
- A new talon will appear
