Any predication for the Ontario Championship ?
So far, the event is averaging over 50% 4-rotor in qual matches !
2056 is pushing a 3+ ranking score !
Ontario Champs is hands down the best event of the season.
I’m volunteering here, and I’ve got to say, seeing so many 350+ point matches is crazy.
2056 set a new world qualification score (unpenalized) of 411 points, which is 531 in eliminations (+120pts for 4 rotor + 40kpa).
This will be an exciting last day!
2706 has been having a great time. As a relatively new team we don’t have the experience or the performance that you expect to see from the 1114’s and 2056’s of the world, but it has been so fun to be able to play alongside and against some of the best (and most famous) teams in the province.
This morning we took some of our students around the pits in what I will call an “inspiration walk” and showed them some of the typical FRC design patterns. It’s one thing to visualize or even prototype a flywheel shooter or a turret or an intake - it’s something different to actually see and touch one and watch it in action and ask questions from someone who’s built one!
This is the greatest webcast of an event I have ever watched.
The live band is great, MC is fantastic, GA is awesome, production value is up there.
Only gripe is not full field video 100% of the time but I can let it slide for entertainment value
