Hey all. As you may have seen in our other thread, our team has been running some experiments on 3D printing materials, namely PETG and Onyx. Our CAD lead ran some experiments over the off-season and wrote a really great writeup. All the mentors on the team agree that it should be posted in hopes of getting feedback if we did anything wrong, or if you have something to add to our results. If nothing else, hopefully some of you guys are able to learn from this as well, and maybe consider getting onyx if it seems to suit y’all’s needs. Appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks all!

ONYX WRITEUP.pdf (102.8 KB)
Edit: Didn’t include the Writeup lol. Should be there now.
Edit 2: Including CNC kitchen’s YouTube channel due to him being referenced multiple times in our report. Very helpful for anyone having 3D printing questions. https://www.youtube.com/@CNCKitchen
