Open Source Web-Based Scouting Software Release

Greetings! My name is Jamsheed Mistri and I’m a programmer for FRC Team 114 - Eaglestrike.

Last year, I created a web-based scouting system called “Eaglescout” and our team has been using it for both the 2018 and 2019 seasons. It’s compatible on both desktop and mobile, and it has some built-in features that make it incredibly easy to input and analyze scouting data. It’s created using node.js with express, and formatting is done with HTML, CSS, Handlebars, and Materialize. I’m releasing this year’s version of the software to the public since we’ll be headed off to Houston championships today.

Rather than listing all of its features here, I made a demo video:

The source code and installation can be found here: https://github.com/Eaglestrike/Eaglescout-release-2019

If your team ends up using it now or in the future, please let me know — would be flattered to see it being used outside of our team.

Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions! Thanks
