We, Team 4020, have been having many issues with the open MeshRadios, both the OM5P-AC and the older OM5P-AN.
The issues we have been having are as follows:
-Both radios flashed with this year’s firmware do not allow camera server to start.
-Lab view will not deploy from last years radio with this year’s firmware.
-RoboRio pings seem to be blocked through the same radio.
-Network names do not seem to be resolving properly.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Just to ask the most basic troubleshooting things:
Are you running the latest firmware update? A new one was released two days ago.
Is your RoboRIO plugged into the correct Ethernet port? The camera?
Do the deployment issues persist when tethered to the radio, or is it only when you try and deploy wirelessly?
The firmware is the latest update (Updated Yesterday)
The RoboRio is on the correct Ethernet Port and the camera is a USB camera (Logitech C270)
We have not tried deploying wirelessly, we will be trying that first thing this afternoon.
I don’t think it’s any more likely to work wirelessly, was just trying to figure out if it was possible that code was trying to be deployed via the “wrong” interface (i.e. via Ethernet if it wasn’t connected).
Sorry typo. I meant to say was that we have not tried to deploy over a wired connectioin. We have only been deploying over a wireless connection.
