OK, I’m new to Inventor, so I may be doing something wrong, but I can’t figure out how to load this file. After saving the attached file on my computer, when I try to load the file, I receive unresolved references… Do other files need to be posted as well, or is there a trick to loading the assembly into Inventor?
He needs to load more files. To open an assembly you have to have the parts. I believe there might be a method of doing it without these parts, but it is easiest just to load all of the parts.
Please put all of the files(.ipt) used to make this model in a folder (zipped) and then upload with the .iam.
You could consider the .iam file as the “assembly” instructions, but without the parts you can’t assemble as instructed…
ok. these are all the files used in the assembly. i couldnt figure out how to put them in a zipped folder so i just added them all, so if u download them all, it should work. i hope:)
orbitball complete.iam (139 KB)
orbit ball half.iam (151 KB)
orbit ball piece.ipt (162 KB)

I have downloaded all the parts and they are in the same folder, but when I try to open the orbitball complete assembly, it asks looks for a orbit ball final assembly. Could you please post this file as well.
