Outlook Express & Lexmark x63

Does anyone else have problems with Outlook Express not actually loading?

Also, if anyone has a Lexmark x63 All-In-One printer/fax/scanner/copier, can anyone assist me on re-installing it? Lexmark doesn’t supply me with any information, and I seem to have screwed it up when I uninstalled it to re-install it before (my scanner part wouldn’t work).

If you have Windows XP you should be able to find some drivers for it in the install hardware location. Windows XP is pretty good with providing drivers for plug-and-play hardware.

I’ve attempted that, and couldn’t find my x63. I think I might just re-install it CD-boot way (doubt it’ll work, never tried running the setup cd on boot). Thanks Dave though

is there a way to setup outlook so that i can send e-mail through outlook, through aol, on a dial up connection? i know it sounds complicated, but i want to use outlook so i can e-mail trhough my palm-pilot. But, i can only e-mail through my palm with a pop3 e-mail account. How exactly do i go about doing all of this? The Outlook help section had nothing on my question.

I’m not sure if you can if your ISP is AOL (haven’t used AOL since it was like, 6.0).

Outlook can basically handle any type of e-mail (POP3, HTTP, IMAP…)

If you ask AOL or something they may tell you.

AOL does not support POP directly…but I did find this when I was trying to find the answer…http://www.enetbot.com/

Looks like a program you run on your computer that runs as a gateway between AOL’s proprietary e-mail system and any POP3 client.

I actually did try using the enetbot thing, but because i was on dial up, i’d have to be on aol while sending my mail through outlook. So when i sent my mail in outlook, it would disconnect me on aol and try to dial up on aol again to send the mail, but it never would actually send.
