Over or Under the Bumper intakes?

Curious on what people are running and why?

  • Over the bumper
  • Under the bumper
  • Under the bumper chassis extension (95 style)
  • Both

Vector is “officially” decided. No guarantees we won’t switch to 95 intake later :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s gonna be a game of chicken with those center notes, and we ain’t losing it

Do you have a link to where the extension chassis has been shown? My team has discussed it but would love to see it implemented if it has been.

Scream built and tested it already while we’ve been working on other stuff.

I nominate the “95-style” to be called “in-bumper” intake :slightly_smiling_face:

How about within-take?

What is both?

Having 2 intakes, likely not needed, but there’s also multiple reasons why this might be good:

  • one can be a backup for if another intake fails
  • maybe over number intake can double as an amp shooter or direct source intake
  • speaking of which, maybe just have one intake for speaker and one for amp, if you don’t want to deal with a way to move from intake to two different systems

Our geometry on our arm/intake can allow to pick up from under the bumper or over. The plan is to primarily go under, but if we can go over the bumper if the need arises.
