Overflow Feeding Station Question

Is there a specific reason as to why the overflow feeding station has a gear slot in it? Is there any way you that you can acquire a gear in your alliance station?

If the opposing team drops a gear, and it rolls into your alliance station, you can inbound it through the overflow feeding station.

If someone from the other alliance happens to drop one into your alliance station then it’s yours

It is simply for design consistency with the other loading stations. Unless a gear somehow finds its way from the opponent’s loading lane to your alliance station, you will not be using that gear slot.

I think this thread came up before.

  1. Interchangeable parts with the other loading stations.
  2. If a gear somehow winds up in the driver station from the loading lane.

If one (or 2) of your alliance partners do not want the preloads they go to the human player station with your drive station to be introduced when and if needed.

Clarifying per Manual 4.2, D&E bullet points: They go to the Loading Lane with your Human Players to join the gears there. Your drive team stays in the Alliance Station with the controls.
