I have unofficially heard (rumor) that the Midwest regional committee has agreed to try a paging system donated by Motorola to notify teams of announcements and such. I also heard that if this works out well, they may try to set up the same system at the national competition. I’ll let you know if this rumor becomes more of a reality.

I participated in a meeting to decide on what services to provide with the system. The coolest one is that it would continuously post the top 10 or 20 teams.

Raul,

Wow! Great job. When we kicked around the idea of doing something like this on this forum last year, I promised to start calling you Raul-the-Magnificent if you actually pulled it off.

I have been using the term on occasion behind your back, but I may have to start using it to your face if you help make this happen

Well done, sir!

WildStang… …I think I love you…

P.S. How does Dan-the-Outstanding and Lynn-the-Spectacular sound? I have to be prepared in case Dan Green and/or Lynn Monica had anything to do with it.

Way to go Motorola and the Midwest Regional committee!

I bet the teams who are ‘Great Laking’ it are a bit jealous!
