Webcast was giving me a tough time here in Georgia coming in at about 180 Kbps. Now I am getting 331 and video is much better. Look forward to seeing our friends from Peachtree.
I just watched 1626 score 3 in the last 30 seconds for a quick victory. You have to watch out for this team. The are great to work with and a lethal, quick scorer.
hi there, ive just gotten access to the webcasts and I was wondering if any1 had the the time sheet for what teams are gonna be playing at what time
Just watched match 29 with my favs 1251 :-D. Awesome ramp action kids…way to score 76 pts! Wish I was down there right now :-(.
ha, the announcer just called 1369 perpetual motion, which is our teams name, 1368
I just heard the Head Ref overruled a ramping bonus for the last match, because the ramp started to rise after the time expired…I was under the idea that the score is finished when the robots stop moving/the refs are out there to measure…can someone please clarify this one for me.
This may very well determine the 1st seed…and I would hate to see a Ref make such a mistake.
It was orignally scored as 19 - 16 then went to 4 - 16 after the refs final decision was changed…
Exactly, shouldn’t it have stayed 19-16?
The refs just made another ruling after the score was put up at Palmetto again…they need to work on that, and reading the rules.
I agree.
Wow, the announcer just had the crowd stand up and say hello to the webcast prior to match 53. Unfortunately the camera person didn’t get the word and we saw none of them.
Lets go 1746 & 832.
A YELLOW CARD!
First I’ve heard of this year, for overly aggressive play.
Scratch that…the refs changed their minds again…sigh
Oh snap, yellow card on that last match.
Aidan Browne (Lead/Chief/Head Referee of all the regionals) is at the event along with a very experience ref crew so I’d imagine whatever was change was probably the correct call, and needed to be made. Terrell, Chris, and the rest of them have a lot of experience and have definitely read the rules.
Not to take a shot at Aidan, gotta love him, he did make an incorrect call at the UTC Preship Scrimmage, and was later corrected.
Good job 1251, hang on to the top there, we’re rootin for ya! How did you guys get 8 matches in today? You must be worn out…
Keep it up 1626! 121 is rooting for ya!
If you haven’t already, come by our pit and check out our Space Shuttle robot transporter. I wish I could post a pic but I don’t have a camera with me.
Several groups at our school were involved in creating this award winning cart including drafting, the wood shop, and the collision repair shop.
Congrats you guys on winning the Imagery Award.
They’re doing 10 matches per team with 6 minute turnarounds (not the usual 8 as in other regionals). They also set the # matches between rounds to a low number (4). We were in matches 8, 12, & 16 and never got to our pits between matches as they also have them queuing 4-deep. It’s very hectic here, but tomorrow is going to be awesome. Some great scoring and the alliance picking won’t be easy.
Tune in again tomorrow. Same Bat Time - Same Bat Channel.

Good luck Mannie & Rick. We are pulling for 832 & 1746 on the webcast. Dave
Thanks Dave!
Are you recording any of the webcast?
