Inventor 201 is a study guide for teaching Autodesk Inventor. It assumes the students (and instructor, too!) have a basic understanding of how Autodesk Inventor functions, basic sketching and feature creation and 3D modeling concepts.
Students should complete the basic tutorials included with Inventor prior to starting this class. This is not a tutorial, really. I created it as a study and instruction guide with the expectation that an instructor would be helping the students master the lesson.
This is the first part of a four-part series. It was necessary to divide the document into four parts to fit under the 3 MB limit for Chief Delphi whitepapers. The series is divided at logical break points.
Part 1 - Features
Part 2 - Workplanes, more features & constraints
Part 3 - Sketch sharing, ribs, fillets & chamfers
Part 4 - Projecting features onto and through curved surfaces
I will be uploading Inventor 101, which starts at creating projects and goes through basic sketching and feature extrusion, at a later date.
Feel free to email or message me if you would like more info.
