The FRC Discord’s How to Improve Team Organization

A topic of frequent discussion on the FRC Discord Server is how other teams handle organization, and how to mount an effort to reorganize and restructure their own team. In an effort to compile the steps necessary to reorganize and maintain a high functioning team, this document was created as a collaboration by several members of the Discord Server to serve as a guide to those looking to restructure their team as well as serve as the basis for team handbooks and student contracts.
This document has gone through various revisions through several months of work on the FRC Discord Server (Join here: Unofficial FIRST Robotics Competition Server ). If you’re starting a new team, or working on restructuring a veteran one, this document includes various tips and tricks that have worked well for other teams of all different sizes and scopes.
