We’re trying to take inventory on our old FRC parts in preparation of the upcoming season and have several motors that I can’t identify. Any help will be appreciated.
denso throttle motor. There are frc 2016 stats for them online, they are not very good but a motor is a motor if you’re all out. I have plenty and if you do decide to use them, I can explain how to remove the pre-installed gear to leave the rounded shaft available for mechanisms. I personally do not recommend this motor but it is good if you just need an agitator or something that spins. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much. That’s a huge help. We have tons of parts that go back to the 2016 season, and taking inventory on parts that don’t have a Vex or AndyMark logo has been rather difficult.

Has anyone ever figured out how much copper wire you can scrap from these things?
nope, but I build a custom gearbox and have even competed with these things as my intake before. in 2025, use it for practice with the rookies.
