NASA will be sending names up to the moon and you can be apart of that by submitting your name. There is a Gizmodo article on it too! Apparently they are going to take the database and put it on a microchip and integrate it on the spacecraft. I don’t know if they will follow through with this, but I have a cool certificate [soon to be hanging on my wall] and that’s all that matters!

Barry Bonzack is going to the moon. It is also on it way to Pluto with New Horizons, and has been blown up in space on Deep Impact.
I’ll have to look a bit more into the The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and find out if it will be lifting off from the Kennedy Space Center. Since it most likely will, I’ll try to snap pictures of everyone’s name going to the moon.
