Robotech Center will be hosting Parallax Inc’s BASIC Stamp Educators Course in Nashua, NH.

It is a program for Technology & Robotic Enthusiasts conducted on July 1 & 2, 2003 at RoboTech Center, Nashua NH. The 2-day program will cover programming the BASIC Stamp Microcontroller with an emphasis on programming autonomous robots. Please visit http://www.robotechcenter.com for registration. This course is conducted by Parallax Inc’s staff. Space is limited and will be done on a first come first serve basis.
The courses are designed for teachers and robot enthusiasts of FIRST - coaches, participants and others intending to improve their programming, electronics, and robotics skills. Course registration is $125 for the 2 day program. Registration can also be done at

Here is a brief outline of the courses:

Digital and resistive sensor interfacing with R/C curves, A/D converters, and calibration constants.

PBASIC Program writing, structuring, and debugging with a Parallax Boe-Bot.

Advanced robotic concepts including object detection with infrared, dead reckoning, frequency sweep, light following and avoidance, object gripping, and control with Sony handheld remote.

Build a circuit and write a program to display the current temperature with a DS1620 and Serial LCD.
