pdp solid orange solid light issue

I’m the lead Programmer of The CyberGnomes we have hooked all our electronics and updated them all and our pdp’s stat and comm light have turned solid orange and when we look on the webdashboard the pdp is not there other than that we can see the PCM and all our talons

Check the CAN wiring to the PDP.
If you can see everything except the PDP, then you probably have a bad connection or swapped green/yellow just on the PDP portion to whatever device is on the CAN bus before it.
There is the possibility of a damaged PDP CAN board, but redoing the wiring is a first step and is a more common problem to have.

we have gone over the wiring multiple times and have checked old robots and there dose’t seem to be any problem with the wiring

An orange light on the PDP isn’t bad, but it should be blinking.
It just means that there are sticky faults recorded by the PDP, e.g., low brownout battery voltage or a short was detected.
Unfortunately, you need the webdash to clear the orange sticky fault.
A red light would be bad. See the error codes on page 16 of the PDP User’s Guide 2016-01-24 (.pdf)

Did you change the PDP default CAN ID of 0 to anything else?
It’s better to leave it at 0, but there was a problem once upon a time when changing it to a high CAN ID would make it disappear from the webdash.
See page 18 of the PDP User’s Guide 2016-01-24 (.pdf)

If the webdash can see your other CAN devices, then it’s just something with the PDP.

yes the problem is that the pdp does not come up on the webdash and the lights are solid not flashing

I’d suggest emailing Cross the Road Electronics directly and describing the solid orange light and lack of webdash connection.
There might be a simple answer.

You should talk to CTRE first, but the only other suggestion I have is to take the cover off the PDP and photograph the circuit board where the CAN connections are.
There might be some visible damage.
