Per Match Averages (Rotors and Fuel)

Here’s a spreadsheet breaking down average rotors per match and average fuel points per qualification match (auto, tele, and total). Data points are per robot per event.

Fun fact. 97.5% of the FRC world averages less than 10 fuel points per match.

Can you freeze the first row?

This is like, the opposite of a fun fact.

This is an unfun fact

How about this one?

A 90th percentile fuel bot averages less than 6.3 fuel points per match. You can likely get into the top 10% of all fuel bots in the world by scoring no fuel yourself if you get a lucky schedule.

Indiana is nuts with the rotors. Congratulations to Team 1501 for spinning a staggering 3.6666… rotors per match!

Do you think you could take the rotors per team per event and subtract the average rotors at their event?

That is a fun fact, but only if it happens to my team, if it happens to anyone else then the event is rigged and the schedule sucks!

Any plans to update weekly?
Thanks for putting this out!

Brother?

I’d like to see this data after each week, please. Thank you.

I can work on this tonight.

I’ve updated for week 5.

Actually. Wasn’t that hard. Added.

Thanks for compiling and posting this!

Would you consider including playoff matches, maybe as a separate ranking?

Fun fact, IN Perry has 6 in the top 15…

Here is a [i]slightly different list – this is the top 200 based on average rotor points per match at a single event, e.g. team 71 averaged 160 pts from rotors per match at IN Perry Meridian (ICYMI: they got 4 rotors engaged in 8/12 qual matches).

ecpullen helped me find a bug in my fuel code that was miscounting fuel points. I’ve updated the data accordingly.

We almost did this. 159 is in the top 20% of fuel bots from our fuel score at Colorado. We never shot fuel but we had one match with 1619 and another with 399.

That’s hilarious
