Phoenix 6 | TalonFX Sim w/ torque current control question

Okay, so my team is finally adding aim support to our swerve code, but our TalonFX drive motor cose uses on-controller torque current PID control for velocity. To use this with a dtandard wpilib dc motor sim, do we just feed the control requests into motors as normal, and the voltage into the sim, or do we have to use the torque current sim output of the talon somehow. After whichi we then feed the dc motor sim outputs back into the flaons sim state(bolth cases)? Just making shure since wr dont have much experience with sim in general let alone phoenix 6 simulation.
