I’m having trouble viewing the preview in photonvision, wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I’m using an orange pi 5 with the standard image and I have it connected to my home network.
But also, I tried using photonvision for windows on this PC too as well as another PC in the house and both of those versions also don’t allow me to see the preview, but it seems to actually be processing something anyway.
Well, holy cow. After waiting 20 minutes and then posting here, it’s working.
But then it seems flaky, it works sometimes and others I have no preview at all. I just tried starting a calibration but my preview screen disappeared.
I had similar issues. After a little bit it seemed to work. Not sure what changed.
Has anyone figured out what the root cause of this issue is?
I’ve been having similar problems with PhotonVision running on a Raspberry PI 4 with the recommended innomaker camera OV9281 and I’ve spent considerable time trying to debug the problem and the only fix I’ve found is power cycling the camera.
I mainly had the problem when running the PC version for testing. Once we went to an orange pi it got better and still occasionally freezes but a browser refresh seems to work. On thing to try is that we found the mini DNS wasn’t reliably working so rather than going to photonvision.local we found the pi’s IP address and used it and things seemed to work better then
