Hello,
I am trying to set a static ip address using this tutorial, Networking - PhotonVision Docs, but for some reason after I follow all the instructions, the ip address doesn’t change to 10.TE.AM.11:5800 but instead is set at 10.TE.AM.57:5800 (where TE.AM is my team number of course) Is there any way I can force the ip address to be set at 10.TE.Am.11:5800? I don’t know what to do.
Thanks!
What hardware is this running on?
I’m running photon vision on a beelink coprocessor running ubuntu
From my experience I have only got PhotonVision’s static ip setter to work on official images. If you have enough linux skill you could go manually change it but I would just use the hostname.
Wait, I’m a bit new to all of this so could you clarify how I use the hostname to access photonvision?
I tried accessing photonvision.local:5800 but it doesn’t connect. I made sure the hostname was correct as well. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
What version of PhotonVison
Basically if you are using not raspberry pi you can use a tutorial for the specific operation system https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/network-configuration
