PhotonVision w/ AprilTags: camera used to work well but no longer does

We’re running PhotonVision on an Orange Pi 5 with an OV9281 camera. The camera used to detect AprilTags perfectly with little tuning, but now, no matter the settings, it’s always extraordinarily jittery. Already tried cleaning the lens with a microfiber cloth which barely seemed to help. Any pointers?

Also, interestingly, an AR0144 camera that was recently mounted (more recently so than the OV9281) works perfectly despite technically being “slightly” worse.

EDIT: The OV camera also works well at close distances (within the community) but we need it to work farther away as well.

Im pretty sure the OV9281 has a manual focus? Our photon vision got wonky when we accidentally bumped the focus lens. Try to refocus and see if that helps?

we didn’t exactly think through our camera mount locations making them very hard to take out of the mounts… I’ll try this and let you know how it goes

Tried a refocus, it’s marginally better but still has consistent jitter, and in some cases a jitterless target with the completely wrong Z angle.

Now the rear AR0144 seems to be having similar issues.
