I am a programmer for the team 9149. Last summer our mentor wanted me to learn how to use PhotonVision with an OrangePi 5 pro. Now that the season has started I need to update it.
I attempted to do so offline, but everytime I attempt it doesn’t work. Does the current version of PhotonVision allow for offline updates? I am attempting to install:
photonvision-v2025.0.0-beta-8-linuxarm64
It says the install is sucessful, but it never updates in settings.
(Progam logs [underneath it says that it updated successfully])
It might have worked and just not updated the text but I don’t think that’s the case.
I made a program that just prints the pitch of the best target but it reveals this error. The Venderdep is set to 2025-beta-8 but the OrangePi is stuck at 2024.3.0.
I made a PhotonCamera that used the name “USB_Camera” and “photonvision” but both failed. After that I get the latest result, best target, pitch, and then attempt to send to smart dashboard.
