Photos - FIRST Championship 2013

I have posted my photos from the FIRST Championship 2013 at:

These are mostly Michigan teams. I attempted to take at least a few photos of every Michigan FRC team in the competition, and I think I succeeded. But please accept my apologies if I missed any team. Also included are several Michigan volunteers, but by no means all of them. Again, my apologies for not being able to cover Michigan perfectly.

If you’re on or interested in Teams 33 and 469, you may also want to view:

Thanks everyone, it’s been fun. Seven Michigan events in seven weeks, then Championship. 18,230 photos taken, 6,908 posted (that’s 38% for those keeping track). Quite a blistering pace. I think I’ll go into a coma now for a while. See you next season, or maybe at some off-season events.

Enjoy!

Wow I didn’t notice how much air we got!

Great pictures again thanks Dan!

Dan - amazing photos as always!! And I’m seriously impressed that you managed to get through so many of the Michigan teams!!

After spending part of the event catching up with Dan & finally getting to meet the man behind the amazing photos, I’m so impressed at what he does for FiM!! Its exhausting & exhilarating to try and cover and capture the heart & soul of a region, and Dan does such a great job (with a great smile to match!). He’s certainly been my inspiration to learn more and do better at my photos this year!! Now if only I can match his level of gear… seeing him haul around 3 cameras with various lenses made me so jealous!!

Anyways, if I can piggyback, my current “previews” are up in my Championships Album.

I had the amazing opportunity to get to go up on the catwalk and take about an hour’s worth of photos from up there (I will get my videos & the rest of my photos up soon!) - a handful of them are already posted.

I tried to focus on the Northeast teams (but grabbed some “good” shots whenever I saw them), and have a ton more photos to post - but those are going to require a bit more editing time, so it may be another week or so before the album is updated.

It was really exhausting, and kinda overwhelming trying to come up with a strategy to get to the teams & volunteers we knew and be able to get around to see everyone (and have a little fun)… but after a few tips from Dan, I’m hoping next year is a tad easier!!

These are really great pictures. Thanks
