We’re thinking of having a camera high up and/or offset on the side because a straight on view will be obstructed by our centrally mounted primary mechanism. There are concerns about camera shake high up negatively impacting both driver view and vision cameras, so I think we’re leaning toward a lower lateral offset option.
Anyone have this all sorted out via experience? Anyone planning to use an active gimbal (would you have to make your own or are the servos in COTS ones OK)? Other tips and tricks? Thanks.
