pic: 1319 Underbelly



This is an up close pic of the underside of team 1319’s robot. Here you can see the center wheel float mechanism and pneumatic kicker. The center wheel moves up for easy bump traversing as a 4 wheel drive. It then drops the center wheel lower then the corner ones for quick maneuverabilty. Each wheel is independently driven by a toughbox nano (4CIMs, 2 FPs). The wheels are AM plaction wheels and now all of them have the aggressive tread for pushing ease. (pic taken before ship)
