About Our Robot:
What can it do? - Everything
How many tiers? - All Three
How many robots up? - Two (12.8")
High Speed? - (Yes)
High Torque? - (Can you say 290 lbs.)
Good Drive Train? - Definitely
Dependable? - Built like a tank.
Grabber? - Death Grip.
Wheel amount? (Two in high, four in low)
Anything Special? - 290lbs. of torque because of an all student designed drive train that instead of using a two speed transmission uses a custom working trans. like this… In high speed (Low Torque) two big diameter small width wheels on the ground and two scrubber wheels… In low speed (High Torque) Four wheels come slamming to the ground to lift the entire robot and speed wheels off the ground to create an amazing amount of force on the opposing object (shall i say robot) We spent lots of long hours on this robot, and thanks to some extra donations from our sponsors GM and Shiloh, we could really make something that started as a group of kids with a design to what we think is an amazing robot. Didn’t really stick to KISS, but instead created a robot that we though would really be able to get the job done.
