Looking great Erich. Can’t wait to see you guys at Palmetto. Does the “MecaTrac” imply you are using that drop/rise center traction wheel design again? I heard what a pain it was but back in 2010 it was pretty cool.
MecaTrac is what everyone is calling Octocannum here on ChiefDelphi. We termed it MecaTrac when developing it for our use and it stuck.
Last year the only pain we had was if we had to take it apart and put it back together. This year we can have a module out and a new one back in under 5 minutes. Although last year we only had to replace a module before ship due to a gearbox being put together incorrectly after a gear swap, so we are very happy with the reliability and what it offers of this drivetrain.
We also look forward to seeing 342 at Palmetto, we showed ours so where is yours?
I’m up at Clemson now , so for the past year I have been a little out of the loop with 342 and haven’t kept up with the trends on CD. All I have is pics the team sent me on Facebook so I’ll see about posting some pics/vid today since you asked so nicely.
Considering I have to pass your shop to head back to Charleston, I thought I would have had a chance to stop by your shop by now.
