Tank.
I refuse to believe this is 89 lbs.
See you guys at La.
Its almost like they crafted the metal to weigh that much.
That thing’s stance is so cool. Also, with all the cylinders you have on there, is one tank enough?
It’s actually well under 89lbs in this picture; this was before we finished up most of the pneumatics/electrical work.

It has more tanks, they weren’t on for this picture. If you think it looks cool here, wait until you see it at LA
Best of luck to you in LA! Do you still have the AMAZING drivers you had last year? Hope to see you in STL
Last years drive team was seniors (I was one of them). I’ve been coaching our new drive team since the end of the 2012 season, and it looks like they’ll measure up just fine :D.
do you have any videos of the bot? I’m struggling to understand how the pickup works…
looks like the back part of the conveyor can go up and down?
No videos yet, but your assumption about the conveyor is right; it flips the frisbees up from the conveyor to be loaded.
Our pickup is effectively identical to 254’s pickup. The front roller is over the top of the frisbee and pulls it in, and the bottom roller (spinning opposite to the front roller) kicks the frisbee up and pulls it into the conveyor. They’ve got plenty of matches you can watch to see how it works.
