This pic is our mineral arm in the collection position, allowing us to reach into the crater without taking the time to climb into it.
BnL Robotics, aka FTC team 6962 from Honolulu, Hawaii, is proud to display their first robot built with over 65% of pieces (excluding fasteners) cut on our school’s water jet. This robot was for Rover Ruckus, where we got to the semi-finals in our Regional Tournament. It is a simple design with an arm for mineral deposits into the lander and an elevator for latching. Our robot is able to get into the crater. Oh, and it has RGB.
