You'd think that the Georgia Dome people could pick a better place to put these ads…
Just wondering…
 What makes it such a bad place?
Dave
I think they may be referring to the location of “The Most Fun a Dollar Can Buy” in relation to either the “Hooters” sign or the “Miller Lite” bottle. Either way, it’s pointless and probably not worth discussion.
I don’t see anything wrong with the ad placement either, I was just stating what I thought the “bad ad placement” was.
I was fairly sure it was referring to the giant peach immediately next to the sign
Wow… it must be a lucky lottery system. Look at all them sevens in the (randomly generated) picture ID number…
Did anyone get a pic of the Hooters nest from Atlanta this year?
Or was that area closed off to the spectators?
I got a pic from last year, it is basically a Mini Hooters restaurant at one end of the dome in the mid section…
I thought it was referring to Comcast.
lol, yes that is a good one. I hope no-one gets fired for that, they should get a raise as far as I’m concerned.
you have to think of it this way. where will the most people look for my ad placement? next to the score board of course. so they tried to accommodate as many companies as possible next to the score board. just a bad mix of them next to each other.
Wasn’t there a team sponsored by Hooters? I thought I got a flyer that said “Look for Team 12345’s Hooters girls!”
I know I saw a bunch of folks sporting “I (heart) Hooters” stickers. And apparently they have an airline that flies out of Atlanta (but that’s the only place I’ve seen it).
I don’t see anything wrong with Hooters & beer.
That team was 1287, Aluminum Assault, from Myrtle Beach, SC.
How do I know this? They were right by our pit at Palmetto. No Hooters girls there, though.
(As for the airline, I checked their website–they’re doing public charters to a few places. The hub is in Myrtle Beach, which probably explains how they met up.)
Where you sad about this Billfred?
I see nothing wrong with that. A funny setup…No need to get upset about it.
I have a funny story about the Hooters team. Our pit scouts were visiting with one team who had part of their arm fall off, all of a sudden some kid came up and was like “Dude there is a Hooters team here!” The whole team left their broken robot and ran off to the Hooters team leaving one team member holding half of their broken arm. He promplty dropped the broken arm and ran off to join them. Our pit scouts were amazed.
From an advertising stand point its perfect ad placement, Hooters(The restaurant) and beer go hand in hand usually and then you must be drunk to support comcast… just kidding comcast might be my next employer so I will be nice.
They had the Hooter girls there at the championship
they where around… one of my fellow teams mates had them sign his shirt so yeah…
That ad placement is perfect. Just think about it, what is the Georgia Dome for? And yes there were Hooter girls in their pit. I know this because my team also dropped everything when they heard it, me too. Teenagers  .
bad like christian moral right “bad”. theyre arleady hating on hooters. but add in beer, and a fast internet connection
then drive it home with “the most fun a dollar can buy”
i guess you could say the placement was ironic
Erin, is your private message box full of marriage proposals yet?
