I spy a Daisy headband!
I see what you mean.
I was standing right behind three of them.
does anyone know who the guy that was announcing/hosting the concert was? we couldn’t hear his name.
It was really bad behind the huge cluster of Blue Cheesers.
Also, shame on you for breaking the rules and recording the event.
Can you see how many cell phones are in hands in that picture, taking pictures? I don’t think that FIRST really thought that one through…
I saw quite a few DSLRs in hand between the time I got to the venue and when I left. The whole “no taking pictures” thing was not enforced at all.
Somebody told me the ticket stated the performance could be recorded as long as it was marked for private use only.
I don’t have my ticket anymore, so I cannot confirm this. Does anyone have a ticket that can confirm?
As stated by someone who beat me to the post, you were allowed to videotape for personal use only. Read the back of your ticket.
From the back of my ticket:
Photographs, videos or other accounts or descriptions (whether data, textual or visual) of all or any part of the event or of any event-related activities created by the ticket holder may be used only for personal, non-commercial uses. Any transmission or other distribution to any commercial enterprise, and any public performance or display, are strictly prohibited. Breach of the foregoing may result in legal action against the holder"
Where did it say we couldn’t take pictures/video?
There were announcements made in the pits during the second half of the day on Friday.
However, I do trust the back of my ticket more than a pit announcement. I remember reading that paragraph, and was really confused as to why they had told us earlier that we couldn’t take pictures at all.
