Is it bad that the first thing I notice in this picture is the HUGE pile of Orbit Balls poised to be dumped on the field? Talk about nightmare!!!

Will there be additional awards, or just the three winners? Regardless, I can’t wait to see these beautiful banners in person.

There will be judged awards in addition to the winner and finalist trophies and the winner banners. We’ll try to get a picture of the trophies posted in a week or so.

Glad Chezy Champs is doing banners, we need one more for next year’s bumpers…

I died a little inside when I read that… lol

ok – how many hoops had to be jumped through to get permission to reproduce all the form factors, colors, logos, … ???

and not doing 4 team alliances? how un-iri-esque! :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice banners! All off season events should do this! We asked the FIRST vendor to make ours from OZARK.

*By the way, that robot on the ledge looks like its going to fall over.:ahh:

Blue banner bumpers are best bumpers.

I would have thought that instead of the FIRST logo, it would have been EJ’s face…

My gut feeling would be approximately 0. The only thing that would raise questions would be the FRC logo. But I’d be willing to bet that it falls under the usage outlined by FIRST’s logo usage guidelines.

Which can all be found here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/marketing-tools/frc

If only…

Regardless, the banners are still pretty awesome, and I’m looking forward to watching!

And which FIRST itself has a hard time holding to… (remember the LED screens at Champs 2013?)

The banners look great. I can’t wait to see who takes them home!

FIRST doesn’t need to as it is THEIR logo.

Oh I know, but there were some seriously ridiculous things they were doing with their logo…

A couple years ago, I talked with one of my team’s sponsors for logo guidelines because we were using heir logo on some banners we were printing. Almost all of their requirements were directed internally-- after all, that’s who is doing most of the design with their stuff! After all, if your own group doesn’t respect your logo/brand, who does?

Anyhow, I’m digressing; I think about branding and design a lot, especially when it comes to teams and FIRST.
