My brother Tyler (tkwetzel) and a friend built a mini-chopper. He brought it home this weekend and took it over to show to Dave. The result is Dave pronouncing it a pimp ride.
jeez. If you look and imagine a lot, can’t you see him as a regular Paul?
this goes on the list of ‘most disturbing pictures ever put on chiefdelphi.’
DON’T WEAR SHORT SHORTS DAVE! AHAHAHAA! My eyes!
So, Wetzel, which one of you Bratlings took this picture? It’s a good shot, nice colors, blurry where it needs to be blurry, sharp where it needs to be sharp… my only advice is that next time you have to convince Dave to actually put on a pimp suit before he rides it…
Heidi
BTW… did dave break it after he was done riding it?
I want to ride that thing. haha I do have a question, did dave break any bones while riding it?
is it just me or are there no brakes? those shoes are lookin preeeetty flimsy for a flintstones style braking maneuver
There is a brake - my right foot is just over the brake pedal. About 30 seconds after this photo, I hit gravel while turning around in a driveway and dumped it. One slightly scratched up knee later, with all my bones still intact, I drove it around some more. It was a lot of fun and a nice ride (and Amanda, do I get to be Paul Jr. or Paul Sr.?).

Don’t wear kilts Dave! AHAHAHAA! My eyes!
Long story, tell ya later
Dave,
Maybe you could be Sr. and Sean could be Jr.? Get him on a chopper… very cute.
Corrupting Lil’ Lavery from the beginning of his FIRST career (this is incident number TWO!),
Amanda
Can I be Cody or Vinnie? (Or even Mikey if I have to go so low) HAHA!

Man, it used to be Mickey Mouse was a household name. Now look at us. Those OCC guys have become pretty famous I guess.
Wow… seeing this picture, I’m having some “1969 Easy Rider” flashbacks.
(BTW Dave, um… no helmet? Safety FIRST)
Cool bike! Is it a regular mini-bike single stroke engine using the gas & oil mixer?
Heidi-I took the picture.
General info:
The chopper has a 4-stroke techumseh 6 hp engine and a centrifugal clutch and linked to the rear wheel at a 1:6 ratio. There is a brake, but it is not very visable in any of the photos (the riders feet are the emergency brake). It goes about 35 mph at top speed. And while I was home, at least two people referred to me as “Paulie”. Dave is the only person to crash the bike so far (minus a riderless mishap during testing)
Amanda - Sean did ride it, albeit very slowly and cautiously.
If anyone is interested…you can come pick it up for $500…which is a steal considering it has been riden and dubbed “PIMP” by Dave.
EDIT: Notice Dave’s hair (especially you Heidi)…it remianed like that for about 10-15 minutes after he got off.
EDIT 2: You should have seen the license plate on the truck that Dave slid under when he dumped it. I wish we had gotten a picture…it was upside down and backwards.
Oh goody, another picture of Dave to mess around with : plots evilly :
I think he did that so he didn’t have to worry about his pants getting caught in the belt/chain! :ahh:
So Dave, is this a hint? I can’t wait to see if we get a 6hp Techumseh in the KOP next year!
There is no problem with wearing long pants. My friend that I built it with wears long pants every day and has not even gotten close to getting them caught in the chain. And I doubt we will be allowed to use internal combustion engines in the competition, though it would be nice.
Some things should never be photgraphed - ever.
If anyone going to Ramp Riot is interested, I might be able to bring the chopper there. PM me or respond to this thread if interested.
MAN I sure wish I was going to Ramp Riot! Then maybe I could ride it!!! But I can’t…if i had 500 bucks I would probably buy it. My friend has one of the real ones and it sucks, so I bet your could toast his.(His only goes like 25mph.)
