Who knows what I was looking at. But I guess it’s time I posted a WAI with my face.

lol. finally. What is the thing thats under your hands? it reminds me of a waterbottle from an old time movie?

A canteen?

–yea for photos! Hope more folks are inspired by this and put up their WAIs as well! yea!

Heh, thanks. Yes, that is another student’s water bottle, which is encased in a cloth sleeve.

I noticed that you have the same logo on your hat and shirt. Is it a brand? Also, call me stupid, but what does wai stand for?

That would be my work uniform. I usually head straight for the school after work. Our team shirt from two years back is underneath the work shirt.

And WAI stands for Who Am I? As you can see, it appears next to my green avatar, basically you tag a photo that let’s people see what you look like. Detailed instructions can be found here.

Ah come on David, of all the pictures, you decide to post the one with you (safety captain) with a band-aid on your finger. What happened?

those burgerking ketchup packets are evil!

I know this kid who tried to open one without gloves and a vise and he lost his arm…

Let me guess? You were chewing your fingers because you are nervous about your upcoming regionals, and accidently chewed your finger off. Luckily, you had a band-aid there to reattach it.

Uhm, it was a work injury? No, I was using a drill and wouldn’t you know it, my finger was waiting to greet it on the other side. It only scrapped a fraction of my skin off.

And in my defense, Mike, band-aids are a fashion statement. :stuck_out_tongue:

I always seem to have these shallow scratches in my thumb, index and middle finger tips that fill with dirt/soot and become so stained that not even 10 minutes scrubbing with soap meant to get dried paint off your hands will clean them. Just have to wait for the skin to fall off. I think most of these are from cheeseholing where the drill bit always has thin pieces of metal 6 in. to a foot long spinning very, very fast.

a team mate cut his finger because he forgot to lock a tape measure. it wasnt a big cut but it took a while to stop bleeding…

Boy are we lucky our sponsors keep a very well stocked first aid kit. I swear, everything from burn gel to antiseptic wipes are in there.
