Here is Team 1670’s finished robot. No arm!? What!? We had one, but the gears stripped in the van door motor and we didn’t want to go out there without some kind of goal scorer. So, our tread-plate platform raises to “dump” the tetra under the goals. It’s effective and we hope it will be successful when we get to Denver!
This is nice work, especially when you’re up against the wall.
Have y’all made any plans to grab off the auto-loader? If so, I could see this robot being good for quick points, and maybe some good defense.
(I know, I know, I made the case for capping a few weeks ago. But points are points, right?)
All in all, I’m going to give it the…
Nice job guys.
I think it will do well in Denver.
Thanks guys. Hey Matt, I had to go wake the students up from their dorm rooms on Sunday and only one showed up on Monday morning!! We got everything tightened down though.
Fabulous robot!
It looks compact too!
Is that a type of proxy tetra on your robot to hold other tetras on your robot? I like that! Great idea!
All robots Ive seen so far are very creative
.
Great job!
looks nice. I think that this robot will perform better than expected by a lot of people. because you don’t have an arm, you aren’t going to worry about caping and can play some excellent defense with what I can see as the robot with the absolute lowest center of gravity. good job especially when you are up against a wall like billfred said
The tetra on top is just to show the loader and how it drops tetras. It works well.
