Here is the aluminum version of this gearbox. I designed the new version just for fun, but with intention of reducing the amount of machining work required. I’m open to feedback, so let me know what you think.

I’ll try to get the CAD model posted soon.

Gotta say the way you have the pneumatics done up on the gearbox just makes it look so we’ll packaged. Good job!

It looks a lot like GRT’s 2016 gear box with the buried pneumatic cylinders. In 2014 GRT used the same belt path you have and we had belt skipping problems due to not enough belt wrap on the large pulley. High tension led to short belt life. That is why we choose the belt path we used on 2016. Looks nice.
