I spy a tilting mechanism…
I don’t know what it is, but I like it! Is that the whole chassis?
Is that .25" ?
Yup.
Why?
2 Cim drive? Cant wait to see the shooter in action.
Wow. That’s a lot of material.

My guess is that is just 1/2 of the bot
Quarter inch aluminum with 2 CIM drive? I’m scared for you.
Or they have no drivetrain and only climb…
Who said anything about 2 CIM drive? That wouldn’t be very 2200 like. They did give us access to 6 this year
6 CIMs the other 2 for the pod are not attached yet
That gearbox only looks like it can hold 1 CIM.
Look closely at the small plate: the other 2 go inside the frame.
That’s an…interesting concept. Will an enlightenment as to why be following soon? Just a space saver?
(Funnily enough, passed my Simbotics post without even knowing it.)
There was not enough room to fit 3cim’s and a shifting piston all on the inside. It was a simple matter of how to make it all fit. With the reduced dimensions of the robot this year, a standard 3/4" bore 1/2" stroke bimba piston was too long to fit we redesigned to use a shorter “flat line” piston.
