team 1778 is well on its way to completion, we made great progress and even had time for a weight test for our ramps with the chassis from last year’s robot! every things coming together in the last few days before ship and we just wanna thank every one who’s helped us get this far! what are those ramps made of?
looks like some steel alloy or some carbon fiber stuff
Its a form of hexite, we used a lot of it on our bot this year. It’s paper and epoxy in a honeycomb structure compressed between 2 sheets of fiberglass, carbon fiber, or other materials. were using a few forms of it this year on our bot, and its become a great go to material.
