— Flyer Info Above —

Next to the flyer are some of our 3D Printed Parts from this year. In addition to submitting your design(s) to the email, you can post them below here!

(We had to downgrade the prizes from a banner to a certificate due to a tight budget)

Boy oh boy are you gonna get a kick out of our high shooter.

You guys built the boot wheel from the game animations?!!

In all seriousness, I would be really interested to see your shooter. Our shooter also has ‘some’ 3D printed parts incorporated in to it’s design.

I would like to nominate Team 1986 for this contest.

Can we enter a 3D printed 3D Printer that we used to 3D print some items for our bot?

Can’t way to see it at Rhode Island - I’ll make sure to get you guys a flyer!

Thanks! I’ll try and get in contact with them.

Yes -

How did you incorporate 3D Printed Parts? It’s always cool too see what different teams did!

I have informed our team’s students of this contest, I sent you a private message asking how specific the part(s) had to be. We would submit our entire robot if permitted.
Seriously, the amount of filament we used this season cost more than the second 3D printer our leader mentor bought so we could keep up with the demand. I believe we had access to and used 5-6 3D printers. Mind you, a lot of that is prototyping and iterations on our designs.
It’s maybe not as impressive as I make it out to be, but our team is pretty impressed with ourselves and our accomplishments this season.

I replied, but to answer the question here:

You can enter whole assemblies or your robot to this contest and can describe your 3D Printed Parts in as much detail as possible. Your application does not have to be limited to one part.

The entries so far are awesome!

It’s always interesting to see how different teams design for the game(s) or problem(s) they have - and a 3D Printed Part is a great solution to that!

Dont forget to submit your own Ian.

I’m not entering this into the contest, but I would like to post a link here since the group who reads this thread is into 3D printing. Feel free to use any ideas from it in your future work! This project is still on-going, and at some point once we finish building it I’ll make one final update along with some footage from what is built.

This project started in 2014… hopefully we’ll finish it this year!!

Looks like an awesome project! Keep up the good work

Deadline is 16th at 11:59pm or 15th at 11:59pm? Or none of the above? Also EST or other?

I hope someone from team 118 sees this. They had 3D printed joints, camera mounts, racks and pinions, and even more.

Deadline is April 16th, 11:59 PM EST. Thank you, I should add that next year.

I’ll send their team an email - thanks for telling me!

ATTENTION: You have just under 12 hours and 30 minutes to get your entries in. Don’t forget to enter!

You might want to try and contact someone from 192. They had almost completely 3D printed swerve modules. It was incredible.

Thank you for telling me!

Next year I probably shouldn’t end the contest on Easter Sunday, that way it’s easier to contact teams who may be late entries.

When are the winners going to be announced? I would like to see what teams did.

We just finished judging 30 minutes ago. I hope to release/tell the winners sometime next week (we have to get a few things together first).
