My thoughts exactly. He might could change the casing to be a few plates and some standoffs, but I can’t say for sure without knowing what’s going on inside.
The low profile swerve is definitely a great concept and I would love to see it in person in the coming year(s) if it ends up on a robot.
For the last couple years GRT has inverted the CIM motors. The CIM clears the field by about 1/2" and the shaft is about the tallest part of the swerve. I will try to get a picture of it tomorrow unless there is someone that took a picture of it a competition this year and is will to post it. We were at Salt Lake, Houston, and Silicon Valley.
