1 of our 2 chairmans award trophies on the short bus on the way home from chicago. We strapped it in and covered it with a coat so it wouldn’t get cold…notice that chairmans awards drink mountain dew like robotics kids… we didn’t want it getting thirsty!

Congrats on winning Chairmans! You guys are awesome. Seeing how pumped up your team was after you realized you’d won it made my day! 
Hehe, last year we took home the Motorla Quality award and the Incredible play award from MMR … For the ride home, all four trophies were secured with seatbelts in the back of one of our mentor’s truck!

My first year on the team (3 years ago now…) We won the spirit award in chicago and my team acredited it to my pep talk i gave our team with my hoarse raspy voice…that and the fact i was coughing up blood afterwards… We have a saying of scream till you bleed that we used to use:)
I held the trophy the whole way home and even feel asleep with it in my arms…wee trophies are cuddly…actualy i have 2 cuts from the chairmans award…its really sharp on the corners!
