Turntables!
who needs turntables?

You did a good job on this one, tytus! I salute you. BTW, how long did this take?

i was workinh on it for about 30 minutes before i left for homecoming saturday and i finished it up with 3 modules afterward But my cameras out of Juice

I dont know why it took me so long to actualyy Get to doing it tho from the time the idea formed in my head to thee time i got to building it was way too long, i Guess i put it off because i ordered some turntables from lego BTY: they still havent come

Anyway you could get us more pictures and/or plans for building this? I’ve always wanted to build a Lego swerve drive but I’ve never been able to finish the other one due to lack of turntables. Your design looks like a really nice alternative. Good job

Clever!

um… ok…

take a 40t gear a 5-axel ,6 small bushuings, 1worm gear, 2 large bushing, 3 half pin half axels, a 4-axel, a crown gear, a pully with an O-ring, and 2- 2x1 beams supported by whatever you want to put in there or have,a band, and, an axeld to go in the top

thats one fender module

im way too jelouse of you tytus…i want your brain

That’s really cool! I want to build one of those. I have one question, though. Do the wheels change speed a little as they steer? It looks like the turning action of the turntables might push the band against the bushings and turn the drive axles a little extra.

the wheels are shifted to the sides of the fenders for arakeen correction it is almost motionless as the fenders rotate
