Goin left right, top down, you can see that 314 tries to the stack (really slowly in low gear) but gets flipped!
After pushing the opponent’s stack out of the way, 783 pushes 314 back up top on the HDPE (almost flips it back too).
Opposing team then pushes 314 off, and during this, 783 rams the opponent’s back end and almost flips them; 314 gets flipped back up because they were caught on the mesh. The bottom right pic shows the result at the end of the game with no stacks surviving and both 783 & 314 up top.
Um… the opponent didn’t push it back up. It was trying to push it off and 314 got stuck in the mesh so they were wedging upwards a little. 783 then pushed on the opponent so the wedge caused 314 to flip back up. I know the opponents didn’t mean for that to happen
Both of the matches in Quarter Final 3 were pretty amazing to watch, a lot of back and forth it was hard to tell who was winning at times. It may not have been a deciding factor for the regional in the end, but I thought that this quarter final was the most exciting, and they were also the 2nd and 3rd most exciting matches I’d been invovled in. (#1 is match #92 scoreing 160 regular points before QP was factored in, 202 QP).
