We’d been musing over anodizing since 2001, but never got the time. Not a bad way to celebrate 10 years!

Because we have lost so much time due to weather, I doubt we get the time to do any anodizing this year.

How much weight did the anodizing add? and how much time did it take?

I’d estimate it weighs about 30-40 lbs in that picture. The students didn’t measure the chassis components before and after anodizing, but I imagine it would be a very minimal weight gain as anodizing is largely depositing dyes into the aluminum surface.
Counting the weekend, it took about 4-5 days to get it all done. Of course it was all done by a new sponsor.
